doves

a place that i've never been to yet
a feeling i already know too well
a gust of wind kisses on my neck
a feeling that i will never forget

the blue light reaching my eyes from above
filled with clouds and flocks of doves
the trees around wear a brand new coat
it makes me feel like i'm afloat

it's perfect
it's all worth it

blades of grass caressing my knees
growing flowers all over my body
nothing else can make a sound
when you are here and all around
the night swoops over and it's all pitch-black
and i gaze the stars, laying on my back
my head's mostly empty thoughts
but i still think about you a lot

it's out of this world
it's all a blur
